This morning I saw a snarky article titled "Sh#t Libertarians Say." It featured many unfunny comments like: the Fed is the root of all evil or do you accept gold?
However, there was one comment that made me smile: there's no government like no government. That classis Ether Merman standard could and should be updated to feature libertarian ideals:

Here's my final prediction of the year:
Patriots -3 over Giants
I'll either end up 32-27-1 or 31-28-1 for the pros. I'd remind folks that I went 30-21 in College.Nihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

Nancy Pelosi appeared on CNN yesterday with some disturbing revelations. And I'm not just talking about her new hair cut. She also had some salacious innuendo to pass along about Newt Gingrich:Nancy Pelosi told CNN last night that Newt Gingrich would definitely not become president, whether he was the GOP nominee or not."He’s not going to be president of the United States,” Pelosi said. “That’sSaint Paulnoreply@blogger.com1

Last week I went 1-2 in the pros to bring my season total to 29-27-1, after going 30-21 with college picks. There are only two games this week, and I'll take the points in both:
Ravens +9 at Patriots
Giants +3 at 49ersNihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

Mitt Romney recently helped the mainstream media toward their goal of reelecting President Obama. He served up a perfect quote that can be taken out of context to help them validate their narrative that he is an evil, heartless, robber baron.
Romney's words during a breakfast forum of the Nashua Chamber of Commerce included these words on why the free market is a better provider of goods and Nihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

I had my worst week of the year last week, going 0-3 in the college BCS games and 1-2 in the pros. That finishes the college year at a strong 30-21 and leaves me at 28-25-1 for the pros. There are only four games this week, and I'll continue my tradition of picking three, skipping the question of whether divine intervention can lead Tim Tebow to a massive upset, or at least coverage of a big Nihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

Last week got off to a promising start, with a 3-0 mark in the pros. Unfortunatley, I uncharacteristically went 0-3 in college bowl games. This brought my record to 30-18 for college and 27-23-1 for the pros. This is my last chance at college games, so I'll pick two traditional bowls plus the BCS title game, and the first round of NFL playoffs:

Last week I had another set of 2-1 results for both pro and college. That leaves me at 24-23-1 for the pros and 30-15 for college. I will pick the final week of pro football as well as some January 2 bowl games (the traditional New Year's Day games are delayed one day as they are every year where New Years Day is a Sunday).
Next week I will pick BCS bowl games including the championship and Nihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

Last week I split 1-1-1 as the Rams at +7 pushed by losing by exactly 7. That puts my pro record at 22-22-1. Fortunately, college football is back as the minor bowl games have begun, so I have a chance to add to my 28-14 record there and get a few laughs out of some crappy bowl names.
Pro:
Redskins -7 vs Vikings
Bills +3 1/2 vs Broncos
Saints -7 1/2 vs Falcons
Minor College Bowl Games:

A 1-2 week left me at 21-21 for pro games this year. I'd be remiss in failing to remind readers that my college rate has been considerably more successful at 28-14. I'll probably pick a few bowl games, but there are none this week. Here are my pro picks:
Saints -7 1/2 at Vikings
Buccaneers +7 vs Cowboys
Rams +7 vs BengalsNihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com2

I'm sorry to see college football take a break, as I went 28-14 after going 3-0 in conference championship games. I went 2-1 in the pros, as only the Atlanta Falcons spoiled my perfect week. I stand at 20-19 in the pros, but can now devote my full attention to them. Here goes:
Lions -7 vs Vikings
Saints -3 1/2 at Titans
49ers -3 1/2 at CardinalsNihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com1

College football season is winding down, which is a shame because I'm performing fairly well there at 25-14 after going 2-1 last week. In the pros, I went 1-2 to move to 18-18. Since the Irish and Gophers have finished their regular season, I'll take on the major college championship games in the Big 10 and SEC plus an interesting Big 12 matchup, in addition to my normal slate of NFL games, Nihilist in Golf Pantshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14363439123292045651noreply@blogger.com0

Another week of 2-1 on both college and pro picks leaves me at 23-13 in college games and 17-16 in the pros. Since there are three Thanksgiving games, I'll pick them this week. We're all sick of the Vikings anyway.
College:
Pittsburgh +10 1/2 at West Virginia
Illinois -12 1/2 at Minnesota
Stanford -7 vs Notre Dame
Pro
Detroit +6 vs Green Bay
Miami +9 at Dallas

Last week was tough. I went 1-2 in both college and pro games, with only the Irish and the Vikings doing the right thing for me. I now stand at 21-12 for college and 15-15 for the pros. I like a lot of road teams this week:
College:
Boston College +24 1/2 at Notre Dame
Minnesota +15 1/2 at Northwestern
Wisconsin -13 1/2 at Illinois
Pro:
Raiders pick at Vikings
Jaguars pick at Browns

After another week of 2-1 in both the pros and college I stand at 20-10 for college games and 14-13 for pro games. This week appears tougher than usual, so I might as well pick a lot of games from teams that play in the local divisions:
College:
Notre Dame -19 vs Maryland in Washington, DC
Minnesota +28 1/2 vs Wisconsin
Ohio State -7 1/2 at Purdue
Pro:
Packers -15 1/2 vs Vikings
