Obama's troubles just starting...

Pair 'O Dice - Tue, 09/08/2009 - 13:13
If you thought Van Jones was an embarrassment (the Obama administration evidently didn't think so), you haven't seen nothing yet.

You probably haven't heard of Kevin Jennings yet, but you will.

Here's a little appetizer to whet your appetite...

Obama's connection to GLSEN

Now that you've read that, where would you find this piece of work, I mean in your worst nightmare?

Kevin Jennings, Assistant Deputy Secretary, Office of Safe & Drug Free Schools

Buyer’s remorse

Pair 'O Dice - Fri, 08/21/2009 - 12:31
It appears that the shelf life of Hopey-Changey™ is less than mashed avocado.

The light workers poll personal approval numbers are swirling down the tank as are those for the snatch and run job he’s planning for the America’s medical system.

The WaPo speaks the truth:

Faith in Obama Drops As Reform Fears Rise
Public confidence in President Obama's leadership has declined sharply over the summer, amid intensifying opposition to health-care reform that threatens to undercut his attempt to enact major changes to the system, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.
And it’s not only ObamaCare that is being rejected; voters have “The One’s” number on the economy, the deficit and taxes.

But there is one issue with which America stands behind the Democrats….the continued war on terror.

New, improved Minnpost: Conservative free!

Pair 'O Dice - Mon, 08/17/2009 - 13:13
We knew it was just a matter of time.

MinnPost, one of the more successful lefty propaganda/news sites has evidently decided it was just too costly to keep paying people to write fairy tales for Democrats only to have conservative comments tear them to shreds.

In my case, the straw that broke the camels back was this response:
I thought the strongest image in the Strib story was evoked here: "But with 20
minutes to go before the start of a health care town hall meeting there last
week, every one of the 150 seats was taken. Throngs, some still in work boots,
others in suits, lined the walls or found a patch of carpet. Some lugged copies
of the 1,000-page health care bill, the margins marked with comments or
questions."

The Obamabots have been trying to paint the American mainstream that has been turning out to protest socialized health care as "uninformed".

The article, however, invites an image wherein Obama's leftist droogs, and George Soros' paid sock puppets are held off by a guy in work boots holding aloft a dog-eared, hand-annotated copy of the bill.

Think about that.

Regular Joes and Jills working 8 hour shifts and raising families, find the time to print out copies of the bill, read through it, notate it and create a list of questions.

The Democrat legislators that are trying to cram it down our throats can't even get to it with the help of their well staffed offices.

Why couldn't my Rep., Betty McCollum have taken a copy on her flight to Japan? 13 uninterrupted hours available to read the most important piece of legislation to be considered in this country; wasted.

I guess the sushi menu was much more interesting.
To this bit of amphigory from "bunny" Sparber:
"In the meanwhile, the Star Tribune's Chris Serres explores the causes of the angry town hall meetings and finds a lot of very worried and angry people, but very little real information -- one of the strongest images from the story is of masses of town hall attendees frantically scribbling down Web addresses that purport to have information regarding proposed reforms, while others complain that the current bill is too big to print up from their home computer and too bewildering to understand. The fact that there has been a lot of misinformation hasn't helped either. "
Well, you can see where I've gone over the line, can't you? No, it wasn't the profanity laced run-on sentences......it was "Sockpuppets"....they hate being reminded about the sockpuppet thing; especially on pay day.

Death Panels, indeed!

Pair 'O Dice - Tue, 08/11/2009 - 10:37
I was listening to an interview Stephanie Miller was conducting with New York Rep. Joe Crowley this morning.

They were “discussing” Palin’s “death panel” quote in particular. In between the streams of sophomoric one liners that constitute Millers interview style, Crowley managed to explain that there will certainly *not* be death panels; no indeed! And it is silly to suggest that meeting with a representative of the government to craft a “directive” for doctors to follow if you are unable to do so in an emergency was any sort of “death panel”.

I was unaware that we’d be directed to have a meeting with anyone to craft any sort of “directive”.

Huh. Let's give that one a little thought, shall we?

If we can agree that any sane human being wants to live is a default position, then the purpose of any meetings we are directed to have with our government health care worker to discuss emergency care directives can only be to draw lines at which the plug may be pulled.

“Can you go on if your little toe is lost? How about the big one; a foot; a leg? At what point will the doctor be directed to ease your suffering and provide sweet succor, Mr. Jones?”

If we can speculate that we will only be afforded one government health care worker per person (more probably one per 1000), I’d have to agree that “panel” is not an accurate description of the meeting Joe Crowley was discussing this morning.

“Death consultation” is a much better way to describe the meeting Joe envisions.

Greetings!

You are hereby directed to report to the Department of Public Health Care; Directives Div., Room 124 at 3:00 pm, on January 12, 2010 to meet with your case worker, ___________.
Please be sure to bring your Department of Public Health Care folder, your Public Health Care services schedule and your Public Health Care ID.

Also please arrive at least one hour before your appointment to fill out the required paperwork.

Town hall heat has Democrats seeing things

Pair 'O Dice - Wed, 08/05/2009 - 16:20
According to "Think Progress", Rep. Gerry Connolly, the president of the freshman Democratic class says that “at least one freshman Democrat” has been "assaulted" at a town hall meeting by angry foes of Obamacare.

Hey; that's a very serious crime.

Trouble is, I can't find a single word about it on any credible news site, anywhere, and Connolly hasn't named the victim......

Wait a minute.....sniff...sniff....oh, yeah. There it is. Smell it?

FEAR

No, not fear of being physically assaulted; fear of getting their asses handed to them at the polls.

The town halls are generating lots of publicity, bad publicity if you're a moonbat hoping for a government takeover of the medical industry. They're pulling out all the stops, but we won't let them get away with it, will we?

When you hear some goofball claim they are "disturbed", or "chilled" or "fearful" of rightly angry Americans expressing themselves to their elected representatives, just laugh out loud and walk away. They don't have a shred of credibility when it comes to matters of civility.

Remember, this is the same pack of mongrels that thought it was funny when a kook chased Rep. Michelle Bachmann into the restroom and blocked the door. They don't deny it happened, they just don't think there's anything wrong with it.

This is the same stinking hypocrisy that allows a lefty to claim to care about children, while at the same time fighting tooth and nail to preserve the right to tear them from the womb, limb from limb.

These are the same scumbags that chased people down the streets in California for having had the gall to say they don't think a perverse fondness for buggery constitutes marriage.

This is the same mob of losers that just elected Angry Al Franken to the US Senate, and the same mob that is still suggesting Al missed an opportunity to deck T Boone Pickens.

Geeze...hold up a minute kooks, here's a big steaming mug of STFU to calm you down.

And while they are busy, let's have some noteworthy conservatives out there demand that Connolly name the victim...or he can share a cup too. Let's start calling into the talkers and writing letters to the editors to nip this counter offensive in the bud.

Your tears are like a warm spring sunshower

Pair 'O Dice - Tue, 08/04/2009 - 21:20
The beating Democrat Obamacare pushers are taking back home hasn't gone unnoticed by the droogs of the Sorosphere. The posts are rich in and of themselves, but the real pretty tears are being squirted by the moonbat commentators....here's a few of my favorites.

Talkingpointmemo goes for the righteous outrage angle....shouting at respected leaders? How uncouth!

Teabaggers Try To Shout Down Health Care Reform At Town Halls

Angry teabaggers and other opponents of health care reform are heckling members of Congress at their town hall meetings back home in an effort to sway the debate and drown out reform supporters.

This weekend, a group of teabaggers showed up at a town hall in Philadelphia with Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA) and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. They shouted and booed to drown out remarks from both officials and questions from the audience. The Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots reportedly brought 40 people.ogliberal offers succor for the racist memo readers...

I think more coverage of these loudmouthed, angry, almost 100% white wackos would be a good thing. I don't want to shut them down - I want them splattered all over the tv screen.

While SHG gets his man thing in gear...

To which I would add, call your working-class friends first.

These disruptive tactics are tantamount to the use of force. Asking them to stop is not going to work. They have decided that in advance. This is pure thuggery, based on the calculation that progressives are soft, and they can come and make a racket with zero chance of a bloody nose or arrest.

If it became known that physical courage (not just a pot of cash to bail you out and pay your lawyer) was required in order to shut down a meeting and make a MEMBER OF CONGRESS scuttle away, this phenomenon might abate.

You get that? Drop those latte's and call your "working-class friends" to back you up....HA!

Meanwhile, Thinkprogress has our number..

Right-Wing Harassment Strategy Against Dems Detailed In Memo: ‘Yell,’ ‘Stand Up And Shout Out,’ ‘Rattle Him’ The lobbyist-run groups Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks, which orchestrated the anti-Obama tea parties earlier this year, are now pursuing an aggressive strategy to create an image of mass public opposition to health care and clean energy reform. A leaked memo from Bob MacGuffie, a volunteer with the FreedomWorks website Tea Party Patriots, details how members should be infiltrating town halls and harassing Democratic members of Congress.

Lobbyist run? WTF?

Dude, I've been to two TEA parties and not only did I have to carry my own sign, I had to drive my own car! Where's my friggin' check?

The comments from TP are pure gold..

dasm says:

These are truly un-American people, afraid of change, afraid of improvements, and completely against helping ordinary people. It's all about how much these Repubs can line their greedy pockets. This intimidation of duly elected persons, attempting to do their jobs & actually communicate with voters is truly disturbing & frightening.

Disturbing & frightening? Oh noes!

Looks like the moonbats have had a change of heart, doesn't it? No more censoring of dissent on college campuses or in the Sorosphere, right?

blueline bob says:

This comment has been voted down. Click to read.

I think I heard of this when conservatives speak at colleges. Looks like the TEA party people are catching on to what the dems have been doing for a long time.

Voted down and sent to the closet.....no, they're not kidding.....

Anyway, you have got to love the irony of watching a group of morons that have spent the last 8 years planting little pictures of GWB into the piles their dogs leave on the sidewalks squirt pretty tears because teh mean TEABAGGERS are kicking their gerbil smuggling asses all over the country.

Keep it up goofballs!

The outrage is building.

Pair 'O Dice - Tue, 08/04/2009 - 17:54
Democrat legislators are returning to their home states, glutted from their orgy of spending and deficit, to find not everyone is ready to throw in the towel on America after all.

Here’s Democrat Steve Driehaus getting an earful in Cincinnati…the look on this moonbat’s mug at the end of the clip is *priceless*!

Obama mama Claire McCaskill suddenly realizes the crowd isn’t from moveon.org..

She evidently didn’t have the right answers, so a few folks showed up at her office for a more detailed explanation…

Russ Carnahan learns that people are tired of him handing out leftist bullshit sandwiches...

This is what an outraged American public looks like. These leftist paperhangers need to hear your voices and they need to hear them loud and clear.

I’ve contacted Betty McCollum’s office and inquired as to when she is going to give my neighbors and I a chance to weigh in on the debate….no answer yet, but I’m not going to stop until I get an answer.

August recess is grilling time for Democrat congress

Pair 'O Dice - Mon, 08/03/2009 - 20:29
With the congress adjourned for the summer, you can expect the Democrat party to pull out all of the stops to prop up the train wreck that Obamacare is becoming for them.

Keep your eyes peeled for notices of town hall meetings, if you’re being unrepresented by a liberal congress critter, like I am, you’ll have to watch closely for announcements since they’d much rather gather a roomful of moonbats to provide some nice footage to render into propaganda for wide distribution.

Looks like Hakim Ellison got caught by surprise on Friday….notice he won’t answer the questions being posed.

And things went south for Democrat operative Lloyd Doggett in Austin last week, too.

This is how we’re going to crush the Democrat plan to socialize the medical system in this country….facing them down one moonbat at a time.
